YOREN I

The night was on the verge of the dawn tranquilly as slumber still dwelt in the masterly establishments of Ilem's Lane. The moon was barely visible for the clouds reigned over the endless blue-black battlefield : the sky. But the stars, as tiny as they were, never stopped twinkling if anyone would pay regards to them. The night was nothing exceptional than any other night in Alphaville, cool and quiet. Yoren absentmindedly anticipated the arrival of dawn even when he had lived a night which he would always wish to stay longer and longer. His lady-love lay beside him exhausted and warm beneath the sheets, wrapping her hand around his waist. She had the air of being sound asleep in perpetual contentment and he took long glimpses of her as she slept. The feeble sound of her delicate breaths and suspires was alluring and in the musty chamber of Yoren, her fragrance of jasmine spread around his senses. Somewhere in the far, perhaps a stray dog shot an indistinct yelp, leaving Yoren al

SHANNON II

He knew it would be fair. Darwyn Krufer had proven himself a big snob for which Lord Maximilian had to go through a severe humiliation in the court room and might the Gods had granted Miss Natalie's wish, he would be dealing with an issue of anger and resentment with his son. MASON II         He woke up, all of a sudden.       The door was clattering. It felt like the door would fall along with the ceiling over his head and the floor beneath his bed. "Open it before I break it down", a voice he heard indistinctly sharp that nearly killed his previous dream. He dreamt he was in a castle lonelier than the Glass Palace, perhaps bigger, taller and more beautiful. He was a Lord and he had a Lady as stunning as Aerys Sunryder. Black hair, grey eyes, white skin. And little children laughing and running in the courtyard while he and his wife watched them smiling, being proud of their hardship.     But then, it was only the Glass Palace. He was only a knight. And Nene had entitled him, "The Coward Knight".      "Coming !", he shouted gathering all his strength. Such a rough start of the day ! But he knew many days would come and go like that until Nene Sebastyn would be in his life.      And he walked lingering lazily towards the door.
